Work description:

   In the process of socialist new rural construction, the house of villagers in Kunshan, Shuangliu has changed from the original west sichuan style into well-planned buildings. Road, community garden, street lamp and public space take full utilization as the target, which leads to the isolation of human being’s natural rhythm and emotion. As a result, people living in such an environment are controlled and their behaviors are changed correspondingly. The work “Go Home” is a case study of a villager named Kai Yuan. The desire of “go home” seems easy, but is a long way to go and suffocating. Physically, we should walk a long way home; mentally, the return of agricultural culture is hard to realize.Urban living mode always has been described as a rural people's dream, "Go home" is a chance for the villagers to experience  city life.
