The work "tongtianshu Kunlun Muhe" originates from my doctoral dissertation's research on the image of the sacred tree in Southwest China. The tree belief has been widely spread in Southwest China. There was a custom in my childhood hometown. On the evening of new year's Eve, children went to the woods at the door of their home to choose a tree. They swayed around it and sang the song of growing high together with the tree. They felt that the tall tree was full of magic and could carry the wishes of children to the sky. The relationship between heaven and earth is constructed through tall trees, which are numerous in ancient mythology. In the book of mountains and seas, it is said that the empty side of Kunlun is 800 Li high. There is wood grain on the top, which is five fathoms long (one fathom eight feet) and has a large circumference; According to Liu Xin's Xijing Ji, there is a tree in Zhongnan mountain with a height of 100 Zhang and no branches. The crown of the tree is like a car cover, and the leaves are green and red. It is called Huagai tree. Huagai is heaven and earth. The relationship between height, tree, sky and spirit is linked in various ways in different situations. The art of "connecting heaven" is never something ordinary people can manipulate. This set of "technology" is usually in the hands of those in power. The ancient society is the wizard who communicates with the world, and the contemporary society is the "supreme" controller. Deduce the circular story of building a high scale and relying on its psychology. The relationship between pain, happiness and height (heaven) lies at the bottom of our hearts. This work attempts to explore the internal driving force behind the "Tongtian Shu" behavior, which is to examine the past and explore the present.

Shenshu is Chen Zhou's doctoral research project. During the three years of his studies, he spent most of his time in the rational work of academic research. I hope that at this stage he will forget that he is a painter or an artist and become a scholar. The artistic brilliance of ancient Chinese literati first lies in "Literature", and "painting" or "art" is only a natural revelation based on "literary quality". However, the weakness or lack of literary quality caused by the long-term and universal skill training of modern Chinese art education has made it difficult to eliminate the malignant tumor that has been latent in the general during the growth period. Only those who dare to fall into the sea of fire can be reborn. It can be said that Chen Zhou has made great efforts to raise a small seedling into a large branch with luxuriant leaves. Although he did not say so, I am sure that he must have experienced countless hardships.

One day before graduation, he smiled and said to me: I want to do my work.

I said: your paper "the intersection of heaven and earth - the study of sacred tree image" is actually a rare art.

He said: I don't leave where I am. I just need to turn around.

Therefore, at the graduation exhibition, several sacred trees were grown to make the audience bright.

This turn was not a roar of thunder and lightning, but Chen Zhou could not help but concentrate on energy accumulation on the way to travel. Although it is a subtle and unsophisticated movement, it makes people see the gorgeous beginning.
